Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Wednesday moved to Atmaglani once again with his OSD test positive for COVID-19, official sources said.
The news agency Press Trust of India quoted sources as saying that the state cabinet meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed.
He told the news agency PTI that those testing positive for coronovirus with an officer on special duty or OSD had to isolate themselves for the subsequent three days.
Mr. Rawat had earlier gone into self-quarantine for three days as a precaution on August 25, when one of his advisors tested positive for COVID-19, a state cabinet meeting to be held on August 26. Was leading to an adjournment.
Chief Minister Mr. Rawat came out of self-quarantine after a negative test on 30 August and the cabinet meeting was rescheduled to 2 September which has been postponed once again.
Although the revised date of the cabinet meeting has not been decided yet, sources told the Press Trust of India.
More than 20,000 cases of virus and 280 deaths have been reported in Uttarakhand.
